You'd never know it by looking at me now, but I was a wee little runt. I only weighed half as much as my litter mates. I was lucky that I had the best mommy in the world and she made sure we all grew healthy and strong. I am growing up fast now and I have figured out that I really love girl piggies. My foster mommy says I'm a special boy and I believe her. PS -- I really LOVE to play with boxes. They're my favorite toy!

Hi, I'm Monk and boy am I a little spitfire. I zoom around in my cage so fast I'm like a little lightening bolt. We are a couple of sassy girls looking for our forever home. I like to be called "FiFi" -- it is far less formal -- and I am very much a diva piggy. I know that I have an adorable, striped face and I spend quite a bit of time keeping myself fluffy and gorgeous. My best friend, Xena, is so sweet and loving. She looks like a marshmallow who has been slightly toasted over a roaring campfire. We like to share everything -- including our pigloo and fuzzy tunnels. We love to talk to our foster mom -- especially in the morning during breakfast -- and we both love to be lap piggies. We are curious, fun and great companions. Won't you take us home with you?

Hello there. I'm a cute little bit of a thing aren't I. I came into the rescue as a very small baby. My mother had already become pregnant again and kind of pushed me out of the nest way too early for me to be happy about it. THe nice people at MGPR found me a girl to play with and have helped me blossom into a big healthy girl. I'm ready for my own home now. I'll need a nice boy friend. Maybe thats one of MGPRs or maybe he's the guinea pig you have already. In any case I'm ready to be adopted. Please don't make me wait too much longer.

So one of our Face-book fans named me. It really is kind of a cute name. Especially when you consider that we guinea pigs do look more and more like taters as we age. So now seriously. Little Thorn is a shy and quiet guy. But he is very cuddly when you pick him up and give him kisses. He loves to popcorn and loves to eat!

Echo is the leader of the three boys born to Cosette. He is a very happy boy. He gets along really well with his brothers and just loves life. He is often seen popcorning around the cage.

So I'm named for my beautiful ruby red eyes.I'm told many people don't like red eyed guinea pigs. I really can't understand why. I think my eyes are just wonderful and I know how big my heart is. Ready for some Greek Mythology? Clotho was the youngest of three sisters, called the Three Fates or Morai. In human form, Clotho was responsible for "spinning the threads of human life". She was in charge of making decisions such as when gods and mortals were born or when they were saved or put to death. So, you can clearly see that we at MGPR think this girl is pretty important and very special to deserve a name like Clotho. We hope you'll consider adopting this lovely girl.

Yes I have a royal name but lets face it I have royally beautiful looks also. I'm sure there is someone out there that wants to treat me like the princess that I am and let gifts of vegetables rain down on me like humans want gold. If I'm to be your princess I'll need a little prince of my very own.

I was supposed to have a more regal name. However someone that was passing by as I was being photographed said "now that's a chocolate bomb" and it stuck. I don't really mind. I think it's cool that someone would see me as being one of the worlds favorite confections. I'm sugar and spice and everything nice and I want your home to be my forever home. So I'm a little rascal. I like to popcorn and play. Love to run laps, and what I most love to do is dream of my forever home. I sit in my foster cage day after day. Well this is more than a bit embarrassing for a guy to have to share his most private business. But share I must. See I have this little muscle problem that keeps my boy part from fully retracting. It's not a big issue, it just needs to be checked on every few days and cleaned (GENTLY PLEASE) with a bit of water. I promise that the two of us are worth a bit of extra bother. Hi aren't we just a lovely pair of guinea pigs? We had a very nice home with a loving mother but sadly things changed for her and we had to come back to MGPR.
